"The desire to succeed is useless without the internal commitment to consistently prepare." ~Brad Arnett

HOMEBASE LANGUAGE ARTS
This week's Time For Kids features the country Ireland.  Be thinking ahead because our writing will focus on Ireland as a place we would like to visit.
HOMEWORK: Write a sentence for each spelling/vocab word.  Fill out your reading log in addition to getting your planner signed for your reading.  Have a parent help you edit your vocabulary paragraph and prepare your final draft.

C TRACK MATH
Today we discussed the fraction/decimal/percent equivalents which need to be near and dear to your heart in order for you to be successful in future math and to pass the UBSCT test in 10th grade.  You have a list of these to study.  There is a follow-up assignment tomorrow and a quiz on Wednesday.
HOMEWORK: Memorize fraction/decimal/percent equivalents.  Be able to go from any form to the other (e.g. from fraction to percent, from decimal to fraction).

B TRACK MATH
Today we did some more fraction to decimal conversions, this time including some that use long division.  All but two students finished in class which means NO HOMEWORK (except for those two people).
