*If you have a hot glue gun and/or craft supplies that you would like to bring on Monday, please do so!
In MATH we have done two days of working with linear measurement, mostly with the metric system. These have been "in class" activities and while there is a worksheet, you may or may not be able to get it done from home. As of right now (Friday at 12:30), the six extra copies I had are in the recycle box.
Monday and Tuesday next week we will be working with volume. Monday is a measurement lab activity called "Mad Scientist". Tuesday is a series of three volume problems.
Wednesday and Thursday we will be doing two different weight labs. On Thursday each student will need to bring a fruit (from the produce section) and also to know the price paid for it.
For those students who are still scrambling to get some extra credit, please click here and print yourself a few worksheets (NO single digit problems). They are worth 10 extra credit points a piece.
As we close out the school year I am always interested in your comments, thoughts and suggestions about how the year has gone. If you are a student with a question, please include your initials so that I can respond to you. :)
Have a wonderful weekend!
