We have wrapped up our Pig Projects and those wonderful porkers are coming home today (Wednesday)! Tomorrow we will start on our "Student Teachers" assignment.
MATH
We have done volume and one day of measuring this week. Tomorrow (Thursday) we will be doing a weight assignment with fruit. Please remember to bring fruit tomorrow and its price.
COMING UP
Homebase - "Student Teachers". Students will pick a topic and do a 10-15 minute lesson for their peers.
Math - Barbie Bungee Monday and Tuesday, Torrance Test of Creativity on Wednesday, final reflective writing on Thursday.
Final progress reports will be sent home on June 26 and report cards will follow on July 1.
Field day is June 30 and parent volunteers are still needed. I am giving extra credit to students whose parents volunteer.
July 1 we will be playing a kickball tournament against the faculty/staff and then the "Honor Roll" students will be walking to Bahio. (Honor Roll is defined as a "mostly" A grade report card with no more than two B's and no grade lower than a B. This is equivalent to a 3.5+ GPA at the secondary level.)
