After silent reading and getting started with our vocab words we went to the computer lab and took a practice math CRT. Most students finished their vocab paragraph in class today.
HOMEWORK: spelling/vocab sentences, write ten questions from this week's TFK.
D TRACK MATH
Group assignment "Exploring Houses".
HOMEWORK: Write the rule for finding pieces in the "n" house.
A TRACK MATH
Review for CRT. How to write an expression in algebra given a line graph (I will post notes on this later). In class discussion "Exploring Houses".
HOMEWORK: Go to jbuttars.myutips.org and do the 6th grade test. Print results screen (if possible).
B TRACK MATH
Review for CRT. What is a vertex or vertices? What are the parts of a circle called? You will need to know circumference, radius and diameter. Notes in math journal on one-step equations.
HOMEWORK: finish one step equations assignment.
